The selection of centrifugal fan model is a key step in the fan production process, but many people don't know how to choose it.
To select the type, we must first determine the gas flow, pressure and density, which are the three elements of the centrifugal fan selection process.
1. Density of gas
If the density is not given, the density of the working gas shall be calculated or converted according to the working environment of the fan, such as altitude, local atmospheric pressure, working temperature, and the standard density of the gas.
2. Gas pressure
According to the given or calculated working condition density, the working condition pressure is converted into the pressure under the fan standard state. If the fan is equipped with an inlet box or muffler, its pressure loss needs to be considered, which can be calculated or estimated. The estimated loss is generally between 100~300pa
3. Gas flow
If the system requires the mass flow of gas, it is necessary to convert the mass flow of gas into the volume flow under the standard state of the fan. If the system requires the volume flow of gas, the volume flow under the standard state of the fan is the same as that under the working condition.
The above are the three important factors in the selection of centrifugal fan model. I hope you can choose high-quality centrifugal fans.
