What Are The Transmission Modes Of Axial Flow Fan

There are many kinds of mechanical transmission modes in life, such as belt transmission, gear transmission, chain transmission, oil pressure transmission, friction transmission, connecting rod transmission, etc. today, I want to tell you about the transmission modes of axial flow fans.

When the axial flow fan ventilates, the gas is ventilated in the same direction as the axis of the fan blade. For example, the common electric fan and the external fan of the air conditioner operate in the axial mode. Because the gas is parallel to the axis of the fan, it is named axial-flow fan.

There are small and large axial flow fans. Small axial flow fans have low power consumption, fast heat dissipation, low noise, energy conservation and environmental protection, and are often used in many occasions in life. The large axial flow fan is simple in structure, low in noise, large in air volume, and long in selection specification. It is used in industry and agriculture.

We have almost understood the axial flow fan. Here are the key points. What are the transmission modes of axial flow fan? The three commonly used transmission modes of axial flow fans are: motor direct connection type, also known as type A, triangular belt transmission type, also known as type B and type C, and coupling linkage type, also known as type D and type E.

Among them, type A is motor direct connection, and the impeller of the fan is directly installed on the motor shaft for transmission. Generally, small fans adopt this transmission mode.

Type B is a belt pulley drive, which is installed in the middle of two bearings.

Type C is also called belt pulley drive, but its installation mode is different from type B. its belt pulley is installed at one end of the main shaft in the form of cantilever, and the impeller is installed at the other end of the main shaft in the form of cantilever.

D-type coupling is linked, and the impeller is installed on the main shaft in the form of cantilever in the case of air duct structure.

Type E is also called coupling linkage, but it is installed on the main shaft in the form of cantilever under the condition of no air duct structure.
